This Privacy Policy describes how Gantima ("Viral Volt", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use viralvolt.ai and our iOS application (the "Service"). This is a draft template — have an attorney review and customize before launch.
Account information: name, email address, password (hashed), and profile preferences when you create an account.
Subscription & payment information: billing details processed by Stripe. We never store your full credit card number on our servers.
Usage data: the tools you use, prompts you submit, videos generated, hashtags created, and frequency of use, so we can improve the product and enforce plan limits.
Device & log data: IP address, browser type, device identifier, operating system, and timestamps.
Cookies & similar tech: for session management, preferences, and analytics. You can disable cookies in your browser settings.
To provide and improve the Service, process payments, personalize your experience, send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, plan changes), respond to support requests, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Prompts you submit to our AI Video Generator are sent to Google's Gemini / Veo 3 API. Content you submit may be processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not use your prompts to train our own models.
We share data only with: payment processors (Stripe), cloud infrastructure providers (Amazon Web Services), AI service providers (Google), analytics providers (e.g. Google Analytics 4 or Plausible), and email delivery providers (e.g. Amazon SES). We never sell your personal information.
We retain account data while your account is active and for up to 12 months after deletion for tax and legal compliance. Generated content history is retained for 90 days unless you save or download it.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data; opt out of marketing emails; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email privacy@viralvolt.ai.
The Service is not intended for users under 13 (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest), Cognito for authentication, and least-privilege IAM roles. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least 7 days before taking effect.
